Television’s elite walked the red carpet last night for the 70^th annual Primetime Emmy Awards at the Microsoft Theater in Hollywood. Colin Jost and Michael Che, from NBC’s Saturday Night Live, co-hosted the gala. Game of Thrones lead with a staggering 22 nominations and everyone was excited to see who would take home the Emmy in their favorite categories. Issa Rae of HBO’s Insecure decided to ditch the red carpet dress and instead went with a custom made Vera Wang pantsuit. Rae stated in an interview that this hand sown beauty features 3,000 crystals and took over 100 hours to make. We think it was well worth the time!

However the moment that stole the night was Glenn Weiss proposing to his girlfriend! Upon winning the Emmy for Outstanding Directing for a Variety Special, Weiss proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Jan Svendsen, and she said yes! This definitely made for one of the best moments of the show.
